--Three people have been arrested in connection to a stabbing incident that happened in Meeker County last month. The Sheriff's Office says 20-year-old Aryianna Pillatzki of Pennock was arrested at a hotel in Willmar on Tuesday afternoon. Forty-eight-year-old David Pillatski of Arco was arrested in a hotel outside Granite Falls on Wednesday afternoon. Twenty-six-year-old Tre Ertl of Litchfield was arrested during a traffic stop in Willmar on Wednesday night. The sheriff says the three people brought the victim to a remote location in Meeker County to rob him. The victim was intentionally hit by their vehicle after which he was stabbed and left alongside the road. A passerby found the victim and called for help. All three suspects have been booked in the Meeker County Jail pending formal charges.
--One person has been arrested for a restraining order violation near Grand Lake. On Monday, the Stearns County Sheriff's Office says they were called to a home on County Road 8 in Rockville for a Harassment Restraining Order violation and gunshots fired. When deputies arrived they set up a perimeter and called in the Stearns-Benton SWAT team to assist in searching and clearing the home and a shed. No one was found in the search but several guns were recovered. Then on Tuesday the suspect was seen driving in Marty, stopped, and arrested without incident. The person is being held in Stearns County Jail pending charges.
--A St. Cloud man is facing arson charges after a fire at an apartment complex Tuesday afternoon. Around 3:15pm the St. Cloud Fire Department responded to a report of a residential building on fire in the 500 block of 8th Avenue South. When crews arrived, they found smoke coming out the windows of a unit on the third floor and quickly put out the fire. Authorities say no victims were found inside the unit, and no one was hurt in the incident. Five of the apartments were damaged, and the people living in them are working with the property manager to find alternate housing. The man living in the unit that caught fire has been identified as 39-year-old James Lund. He has been charged with one count of first-degree arson. The U.S. Fire Marshal determined the fire began on the living room floor of Lund's unit between the refrigerator and a wall with the AC unit and was intentionally set. Records show investigators found a lighter and empty lighter refill in that area. Through their investigation, authorities ruled out electrical failures, accidental, and natural causes. The tenants of the five units are being helped with temporary housing by the management of the apartment building with other open unit or nearby units at this time.
--Officials with the St. Cloud Police Department say the suspicious death of a 26-year-old St. Cloud man was a false alarm. The body of Mohamed Mustaf Mohamud was discovered in a natural area located near Tech High School off 33rd Street South. St. Cloud Fire Department was called out for a small grass fire Monday morning and noticed Mohamud while putting out the flames. The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office now believe Mohamud died due to the fire, not because of any potential criminal activity.

--A 37-year-old Brainerd man faces multiple felonies for assaulting a Crow Wing County Sheriff's Deputy entered a guilty plea in District Court. Paul Ammon Austin was charged with felony possession of a dangerous weapon or firearm by a prior offender, felony assault of a peace officer, two charges of felony attempting to disarm a peace officer, felony possession of cannabis and gross misdemeanor attempted assault on a peace officer. Austin had already been sentenced previously on DWI and drug charges from an April 4th incident. Austin is scheduled to be sentenced for the felony assault charges in Crow Wing County District Court on July 31.
