--The Morrison County Sheriff's Office is getting the word out about an uptick in sexting being done with teenagers. Does your child have a cell phone? If so, do you know what they are up too? Please talk to your kids about "Sexting" and the risks that go with it. There are serious consequences associated with "Sexting", so please have these discussions with your kids to ensure that the message is being delivered. The Sheriff's Office has posted a number of items to help get the conversation going with your child and teenager by going to the Morrison County sheriff's office facebook page for more details.

--St. Cloud Police are looking for the suspect who allegedly attempted to rob a bank Wednesday afternoon. The incident happened just after noon at the TCF Bank located at 200 25th Avenue South. Police say a male suspect entered the bank, gave a note to the teller and demanded money. Authorities say the suspect never displayed a weapon and left the bank before getting any money. The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-twenties, about 5’ 10” tall, medium build with a medium beard, wearing a black hooded zip up jacket, a black hat, black plants and carrying a small black backpack. Police say they received a tip the suspect may have been seen at an apartment complex in the 1200 block of Main Prairie Road, down the street from the bank. However police say after checking the area the suspect was not found. The case remains active. --The Upsala School Board announced that even after the governor ruling recently on make up days they will continue to have the make up days that were announced before the ruling. Meaning that Upsala students will have school on April 22nd, May 28th, May 29th and May 30th to finish out the school year as were added to the school calendar. Teachers will have workshops on May 31st and June 3rd which were moved for the make up days for students.

--A Waverly man had to be brought to the hospital after the car he was driving ran into the back of a semi. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened just before 4pm Wednesday on Highway 55 near Maple Lake in Wright County. The semi was stopped, waiting to take a left turn onto Wright County Road 138, when the crash happened. The driver of the car, 30-year-old Cory Lyons of Waverly, was taken to Buffalo Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The semi driver, 42-year-old Jared Davis of St. Francis, was not hurt.

--Camp Ripley will be hosting a Retiree Seminar on Thursday, April 18th at the Hangar. Your I.D. is required to get into the gates of Camp Ripley. Coffee 8am, breakfast at 9, seminar at 9:30-11:30am. There is no charge for seminar and $6.75 for the breakfast which is optional. For more information call Tony at 749-2428.

--Mn Dot hosted two open houses at Little Falls City Hall Thursday to detail the Highway 27 reconstruction project. The work will start on April 29th on Highway 27 to be closed from Lindbergh Drive West to Front Street E including the Mississippi River bridge until May 11th then in early May it will be Highway 27 from Front Street to 4th Street East, in late June from Highway 27 from 6th Street West to Morrison County Road 213 until mid September, also at this time around July-August they will also close Highway 27 from Front Street to 9th Street East and then finish with Highway 27 closed at 15th street West to 6th Street West. The entire project is to be completed by October 1st. Pedestrian sidewalks are also to use signed detours and watch for signs. --One person was injured Thursday morning around 2am on Highway 95 in Benton County. 32-year-old Corie Prondzinski of Andover apparently swerved to avoid a deer and collided with a semi-truck driven by 22-year-old Anthony Haynes of Wisconsin. The 32-year-old woman was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The semi-driver was not hurt.

--The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a report of a grass fire near the intersection of State Highway 23 and Stearns County Road 6 in the city of Rockville just before 1pm Wednesday. Stearns County deputies and Rockville Fire and Rescue arrived on scene to find a large grass fire north of the intersection. Further investigation determined the fire was caused from sparks or ashes of a burn barrel while it was burning at the residence of 60-year old Michael Fanslau of Rockville. Rockville Fire and Rescue quickly contained and extinguished the fire. The fire started near Hemlock Road and spread south towards State Highway 23 and consumed approximately 2 acres of wetlands grass. The smoke and fire caused a brief hazard to traffic on Highway 23. No injuries or damage to additional structures were reported.

--The Pierz City Council will meet Monday 7pm at Pierz City Hall.

WWE= It's the largest pro wrestling event of the year as Wrestlemania airs in New Jersey on Sunday at 6pm. The event this year for the first time ever features a womens' match as main event.
