--Little Falls Police reported the theft of a stolen vehicle and an arrest of a male party on Tuesday for being in possesion of stolen property. Police also reported the theft of a wallet and money from a homeowner on 1st Avenue Southwest also on Tuesday. Also fraud reports of someone filing for unemployments under the name of the victim and money was to be taken from that person's account. Authoritie are investigating the situation on the fraud. Police still ask if you notice suspicious activity contact them at 616-5570.

--Two juveniles are in custody awaiting charges after police say they carjacked a woman in Big Lake at gunpoint Wednesday. Just before 6:45pm on reports that a woman's car was stolen from outside the Station Street Apartments. The victim told responding officers that two juvenile males approached her saying they needed a ride. One of the suspects then pulled a gun, and reportedly told her to hand over the keys or he would shoot her. Officers used OnStar satellite technology to track the stolen vehicle to a parking lot on the 700 block of Martin Ave. A Big Lake officer spotted the vehicle, and two juveniles matching the description of the suspects walking towards Coborn's. Police say when the suspects saw the Big Lake squad car, they began running, climbing a fence and heading towards the parking lot of a local car dealership. One suspect was located hiding under a vehicle, while the other continued running. Two citizens saw him and began following the suspect, eventually helping a Sherburne County deputy take him into custody. Investigators recovered a handgun, the keys to the stolen car and a piece of clothing near the fence the suspects climbed. The two juveniles were transported to Lino Lakes Juvenile Detention Facility awaiting formal charges.

--A St. Cloud man who is a self-described member of the "Boogaloo Bois" has been charged in federal court. 27-year-old Michael Dahlager of St. Cloud was charged with illegal possession of a machine gun. Dahlager was ordered to remain in custody pending a formal detention hearing. In November 2020, the FBI learned through a confidential source that Dahlager was discussing his willingness to kill members of law enforcement. The FBI also learned that Dahlager was in possession of a 3D-printed “drop-in auto sear” and a homemade firearm suppressor. An “auto sear” is a part designed and intended for use in converting a semi-automatic weapon to shoot automatically by a single pull of the trigger and is a machine gun under federal law. The while meeting with the confidential informant and others at his home, Dahlager showed several tactical items including body armor, an AR-15 style assault rifle with a folding stock, and an item he claimed was a suppressor. The informant observed loaded magazines for an assault rifle in the home. Dahlager the reportedly traveled from St. Cloud to conduct surveillance at the Minnesota State Capitol building in St. Paul while attending a “Stop the Steal” rally. He scouted law enforcement numbers, over-watch positions for the Boogaloo Bois, quick reaction forces, and which streets were blocked by law enforcement then made a video recording at state capitol rally.

--The Little Falls Community High School Honor Society Induction was held Wednesday night with limited attendance. Thirty-three two-year members were recognized and forty-six new members were inducted. Congratulations to all the honor inductions. --A St. Cloud man faces a felony gun charge after allegedly firing shots at another man Monday. Twenty-eight-year-old Aaron Carter is charged with being a felon in possession of a gun or ammunition. According to the criminal complaint, witnesses reported hearing several gunshots in the area of 12th Avenue North and 10th Street North just after 4:30pm. The witnesses described seeing a black vehicle and a silver SUV in the area. Officers met with a woman who said she and her two passengers were parked along 12th Avenue when Carter drove by in the silver SUV and fired shots through his passenger window. No one was hit by the gunfire. The woman said one of her passengers and Carter were possibly looking to meet up to fight. Police later found a silver SUV registered to Carter's girlfriend and a shirt matching the description by the witnesses. Records do not indicate whether a gun was found, but 9mm shell casings were recovered at the scene. Carter's girlfriend allegedly told police that Carter had taken her vehicle just before the time of the shooting incident. Carter is prohibited from having a gun or ammunition stemming from an aggravated robbery conviction in 2011.

NCAA= St. Cloud State holds off Mankato 5-4, Massachusetts ousted Minnesota-Duluth 3-2 in overtime. SCSU & UMASS Saturday for title.
HS= The State Girls Basketball Championships which includes Albany in the 2A championship are today in Minneapolis and the boys basketball championships will take place tomorrow to finish out the winter sports season for high school.
