--An update to a story yesterday it was reported that the motorcycle that was reported stolen by the Morrison County Sheriff's office on their Facebook page has been located. The investigation is ongoing.

--The Little Falls Community Schools sent out a reminder that there is now a beautiful new grass surface where there once was only dirt by the playground at Lindbergh Elementary. The school is certain this will bring much joy to the students at Lindbergh Elementary. However, right now the school is asking all to please be patient and wait for the temporary fencing to come down before venturing out to the playground so the roots can take hold. If you are thinking about visiting the playground, please access it from the south side which would be the High School side of the playground for now.

--A man was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital after being bitten by a camel. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says they were called to the Hemker Park and Zoo near Freeport at about 2:45pm on Wednesday. The victim was an employee of the zoo and was escorting a camel through an alleyway to prepare it for transport to another facility. The victim was identified as 32-year-old Roger Blenker of Albany. During the process, the camel placed Blenker’s head into its mouth biting down on his head. The camel then dragged Blenker by the head approximately 15 feet. A second employee identified as 32-year-old Seth Wickson of Texas was able to intervene. Wickson placed a plastic walking board into the camel’s mouth to release its bite from Blenker’s head. After being released from the camel’s mouth, Blenker stood on his own and ran to a safe location. The camel then charged at Wickson and bit his head. Wickson was also able to get to a safe location on his own. Wickson refused any medical treatment. Blenker was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital by Life Link Helicopter. The zoo is still open to the public. Blenker’s injuries are unknown at this time.

--A Minneapolis woman was taken to the hospital after she was hit by a vehicle Wednesday night. The incident happened at around 10:00pm on the Westbound I-494 ramp to 12th Avenue in Richfield. The Minnesota State Patrol says 49-year-old Corey Scepaniak, of Sartell, was exciting onto 12th Avenue from Westbound I-494 when he hit a women who walking east down the off ramp. Authorities say the woman, 70-year-old Edwina Franchild, was taken to HCMC with life threatening injuries. Scepaniak was not hurt.

--A large high pressure system will move into the area, pushing daytime highs into the upper 80’s and lower 90’s through next week. Weather Eye meteorologist Ray Miller who is heard on Little Falls Radio by Monday or Tuesday, we'll start to see the temperatures climbing. And then as we head into Wednesday and Thursday of next week, some of the warmest temperatures could happen in areas this season. Miller says the highest temperatures next week will focus on the Dakotas, with triple-digit highs expected late next week. As this area of high pressure out over the central part of the country inches very slowly to the east, the real core of the hot areas going to stay off to our Southwest; parts of the Dakotas, Nebraska and Kansas, will be looking at multiple days of triple digit temperatures.

--There has been a Go Fund Me page set up for 4-year-old Steve “Owen” Meyer who was killed in an ATV accident earlier this week. If anyone would like to donate to the family for this fund It is “Meyer Family Benefit” at Farmers and Merchants State Bank in Pierz or also online at using the website gofund.me/49086f50.

--Tomorrow is Pierz Freedom Fest featuring Trace Adkins, Lonestar and the Fabulous Armadillos. The event is at the Genola ballfields south of Pierz of Highway 25 with gates opening at 3pm. A reminder that heavy traffic is expected along Highway 25 during the time of the concert so expect delays is traveling around the area south of Genola and heading toward Pierz tomorrow. Buses will be going to the event starting at 2:30pm from Little Falls (Johnny C's) and 3:30pm from Buckman (Bank Tavern) and Royalton (Scottie's Log Bar). There are also buses going to and from a number of spots from Pierz and Genola throughout the afternoon and evening. All stops will have drop off after the show is over. Buses are not handicap accessible but there is handicap parking at the ballfield in Genola. Military members who bring their military ID to the event can receive two free drinks on Saturday. Come for the food, music and fun as general admission tickets are $60 and can still be purchased at the event Saturday. VIP tickets are all sold out.

--A St. Cloud man has been sentenced for having sexual contact with a 12-year-old girl. Twenty-one-year-old Gaige Barrett earlier pleaded guilty to 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim under 13 years old. A Stearns County judge gave Barrett a stayed sentence of three years in prison, but he must serve 45 days in the county jail, and be on probation for seven years. Barrett has been given credit for already serving more than a year in jail. Court records show the girl met Barrett on a social media "app" and said she was 15 years old. According to the criminal complaint, Barrett invited the girl to a party and they met after her parents went to sleep. Barrett brought the girl to a house in the 800 block of 35th Avenue North in St. Cloud. The girl told police Barrett touched her sexually both over and under her clothing despite her telling him no.

--There are other events going on Flensburg is hosting Sacred Heart Church Raffle and Chicken Feed tonight at Herbie's in Flensburg, chicken dinner at 4pm with raffle for $10,000 at 8pm with all proceeds going to help the church basement work in Flensburg. Royalton Youth Group has a murder mystery dinner theater tonight and Saturday at Holy Trinity in Royalton tickets at the event. Todd County Fair continues through Sunday in Long Prairie. Twins continues series with White Sox tonight, pregame starts at 6:30pm, Saturday 12:30pm pregame and again on Sunday with Inside Twins before pregame at noon all on Q92 WYRQ. Then the Twins are off until Saturday with an extended All Star Break next week for teams.
