--The Little Falls Dam Festival is next week June 18th and 19th at Maple Island Park in Little Falls. Parade at 11am on the 19th and fireworks on that same night. Beginning Monday is the Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union Dam Festival Medallion Hunt. Listen on AM960 KLTF, 94ROCKS KFML and Your Country Q92 WYRQ at 8:50am Monday for the first clue in finding the medallion an win $500 cash from MMFCU. You must turn it in at MMFCU if you find the medallion.

--Nearly 250 people were arrested when protesters attempting to stop the final leg of the reconstruction of an oil pipeline across northwestern Minnesota took over a pump station. Hubbard County Sheriff Cory Aukes said Wednesday that 43 workers at the Enbridge Energy Line 3 site were trapped inside the site Monday morning when demonstrators locked them in behind the front gate. Protesters also put up barricades and dug trenches across roads. Aukes said that was done "presumably in preparation" for a standoff with law enforcement. Another protest is scheduled for Thursday in Minneapolis outside the office of Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar. TakeAction Minnesota says Klobuchar should pressure President Joe Biden to halt construction.

--The body of a missing Marine from Minnesota has been found off the coast of Okinawa, Japan, according to a GoFundMe set up by his family. Lance Corporal Eric John Niss-De Jesus was an active duty Marine, assigned to a base in Japan. According to the GoFundMe, he and three others were swimming when they were caught in a rip current. The others were able to swim back to shore, but Niss De-Jesus did not. After a three-day search, the Marine's family says his body has been found. Niss De-Jesus was originally from Mountain Lake, and graduated from Mountain Lake Public High School in 2015. --A Grove City man faces criminal charges following a rollover crash near Dassel Wednesday night. The incident happened around 11:30pm at the intersection of 728th Avenue and 220th Street in Dassel Township. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Austin Klinghagen drove through the intersection and off the road causing the vehicle to roll. Authorities say his passenger, 31-year-old Lindsey Nystrom of Dassel, was found unresponsive in Klinghagen's arms at the scene. She was airlifted to HCMC with serious injuries. The sheriff's office say Klinghagen was under the influence at the time of the crash. He was arrested and booked into the Meeker County Jail. He faces charges of driving under the influence and criminal vehicular operation.

--A 31-year-old man drowned Wednesday near Boy Scout Landing on the St. Louis River in Duluth. According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, emergency crews were called just before 2pm on a report that two children appeared to be struggling in the water. Bystanders were able to rescue the children, but officials say they later learned a man went under water and never resurfaced. Just before 5:30pm the man's body was found. Officials identified the man as Kevin Ingles of Superior, Wisconsin.

--More watering restrictions in area towns as Baxter is the latest to ask for residents not to water lawns or use sprinklers for the recent future to keep water pressure lower and reserve water in the city.

--Little Falls Radio received word there was a semi truck on fire Thursday morning on Highway 10 East 10 miles south of Rice near the County Road 33 Overpass.

--Authorities say three people have been arrested in connection to a death investigation last week. Police say 23-year-old Deantae Davis, 26-year-old Kenneth Carter, and 33-year-old Angela Jones are all facing aiding and abetting second degree murder charges in the death of 25-year-old Keisa Lange of Litchfield. St. Cloud police say Jones was already in custody at the Stearns County Jail for charges in a previous, unrelated, child endangerment case. She also faces aiding and abetting kidnapping charges in the Lange case. Police says they learned about the other two suspects and issued arrest warrants for them Thursday afternoon.At around 1pm deputies from the Dakota County Sheriff's Office found Carter in the 10000 block of Galaxie Avenue in Apple Valley. He was arrested without incident and is currently being held in the Dakota County Jail. At around 4pm, agents from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Wisconsin found Davis in the 2000 block of Wisconsin Dells Parkway. Davis was taken into custody and is being held in the Sauk County Jail in Wisconsin. Lange was found on the side of the road in the 4300 block of Cooper Avenue south last Thursday. The midwest medical examiners office says she died from a gunshot wound. Authorities says based on information there are similarities between this homicide and the other homicide reported last Wednesday in the 1400 block of 12th Avenue North, however it is still unclear if there are any direct connections.

--Events this weekend incude today is the final day of Our Lady of Lourdes Garage Sale at the middle school, Zoo Gone Wild fundraiser tonight at Falls Ballroom call for remaining tickets today at 616-5595, a flea-market-bake sale event at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hillman mostly done outside. Little Falls Golf Extravaganza is Saturday at the Little Falls Golf Course where they are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year. There will also be a Carousel of Crafts event next Saturday June 19th from 9am-3pm at St. Mary's Church in Little Falls which can be viewed during the Dam Fest.

TWINS= Josh Donaldson to tie and Nelson Cruz to win crushed two run homers in the bottom of the 9th to come back and beat the Yankees 7-5 last night. Twins open a series at home tonight with the Houston Astros. Pregame tonight at 6:30pm, Saturday at 5:30pm and Sunday begins with Inside Twins at noon on Q92 WYRQ.
