NEWS
--Congratulations to Karen Walker who found the Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union medallion on Thursday morning. The specially marked medallion was found around 10:45am in a tree at the median going into the parking lot of the Little Falls Community High School. Karen wins $500 cash from Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union.

--The Little Falls Dam Festival gets going with full events today and tomorrow in Little Falls. A reminder to please follow the signed detours around the Highway 27 construction today but you can still get downtown to park and take in the sidewalk sale (or sales in buildings without sidewalks today) starting at 9am. Tonight DJ music at 5pm and Brat Pack Radio 80's live show will follow around 8pm tonight at Maple Island Park. Saturday begins 7am-11am at the airport with a fly-in breakfast for Habitat for Humanity of Morrison County, proceeds go toward the next habitat home, there will also be free airplane rides from ages 8-17 if the weather cooperates. The Dam2Dam Bike Ride starting at LeBourget Park, a River Rat Race with different races to choose from start at Belle Prairie Park and then the parade begins at 11am, this year all of the parade will be on 6th Street East which is east of the construction area. The Lineup will be at 13th and 6th by the old Crestliner building and on to Haven Road then travel down 6th Street Northeast over 27 and end at 5th Avenue Southeast. So sit with your friends and neighbors on 6th Street Saturday for the parade. After the parade head down to Maple Island Park for lots of things for the kids, ultimate bungee, rock wall, inflatables, petting zoo, BMX stunt bike riding, Bingo for all to play a couple of sets under the tent, their big raffle and then live music from local Minnesota artists Michael Shynes and Chris Hawkey playing through the evening hours and stopping around 10:05 for the great fireworks display. --After months out of the their boardroom, the Morrison County Commissioners will meet in the newly renovated boardroom inside the Morrison County Government Center. The County Commissioners have sent invitations for those to come and join them for an open house of the Phase 2 completion of the courthouse remodel. The board meeting is scheduled at 9:30am and the open house is from 8am-9:15am on Tuesday morning in Little Falls.

--One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 near Clearwater. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 5:15am Wednesday. A pickup was going east when it struck a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle, 60-year old Isabel Gomez Nava of St. Cloud, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The pickup driver, 32-year old Scott Lemke of St. Cloud, was not hurt.

--Traffic was closed from Waite Avenue to 2nd Street South and the Westbound lane of Highway 23/2nd Street South in Waite Park. City officials say crews are working on a water main leak on 2nd Street South/Highway 23 near Kohl's. The road will remain closed while crew work on repairing the line which is likely to last through today still. MnDOT has also closed the left-hand turn lanes at the intersection of Highway 15 and Highway 23 until further notice. You are advised to used alternative routes.

--Today is Flag Day, raise your flag and fly it proudly today today and then Sunday is Father's Day don't forget about Dad on Sunday.

--Little Falls fell short against St. Thomas Academy Thursday at the State Baseball Tournament in Minneapolis. Flyers lost 3-1 to St. Thomas Academy. Little Falls will now face Hill Murray in the consolation semi-finals today at 12:30pm at the field of the University of Northwestern in St. Paul. You can hear the game live this afternoon on AM960 KLTF. If the Flyers would win they would then be in the consolation championship later today around 3pm also on AM960 KLTF. In other games from Thursday, St. Peter beat Foley 11-3 and Foley is the consolation semi-finals today in St. Cloud, while Paynesville Area defeated Perham yesterday 3-2 to advance to the AA semi-finals later this afternoon in St. Cloud.

--The Little Falls School Board meets Monday at 5pm at the Middle School Media Center. There will receive a construction update from Larry Fillipi, approve board control of extracurricular activities.

NATIONAL NEWS
--White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the Trump administration at the end of June. The Trump administration has largely done away with formal press briefings, instead answering questions before cameras spontaneously on the White House Driveway. Trump explained Thursday that Sanders would be returning to her home in Arkansas and he hoped that she would run for governor one day, saying "she would be fantastic."

TWINS= Twins score 6 in the 6th inning on route to a 10-5 win over Seattle Thursday to game 2 of 3 in the series. Twins host Kansas City tonight at 6:30pm then 5:30pm Saturday, during the Saturday night game for the Twins they will retire Joe Mauer's #7 in the confines of Target Field, a program starting at 6pm with a number of former Twins who played with and against Mauer in a years with the organization. Twins finish series Sunday at 12:30pm with KC before hosting Boston Red Sox on Monday night. All games live on Q92.
NBA= Toronto Raptors win first NBA Title beating Golden State last night in game 6, 114-10 to win the series 4 games to 2.
VL= The Victory League Game of the Week Sunday will be the Randall Cubs at Royalton Riverdogs at 1:30pm on AM960 KLTF.
