--Back on Sunday at approximately 8:26pm, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center received a report of a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of County Road 145 and County Road 44 in Lynden Township. Stearns County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the scene and determined that a 2015 Honda Odyssey, driven by Jason Lee Noordmans, 34, of Monticello was traveling eastbound on County Road 145 approaching County Road 44. This intersection is controlled by stop signs for eastbound traffic on County Road 145 and westbound traffic on Count Road 46. Huston was traveling southbound on County Road 44 at the time of the crash. The Odyssey was occupied by four other members of the Noordmans family: Alison Noordmans, 32, and their three children, Selah, 6, Taytum, 3 and Asher 9 mos. Both vehicles came to rest in the east ditch on Co. Rd. 44. Both vehicles appeared to have rolled over, and the Honda Odyssey came to rest on its passenger side. There were minor injuries to all involved drivers and passengers. Taytum Noordmans and Jeffrey Huston were both transported to the St. Cloud Hospital for further treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Jason Noordmans was cited for the stop sign violation.
