--Court Documents from Morrison County stated that the prosecution rested at the end of an eventful fourth day of the 31-year old Jonathan Greyblood murder trial, Thursday, in Morrison County District Court. Greyblood of Little Falls, was officially charged in Morrison County District Court with two counts of second degree murder, February 9th, in relation to the death of his wife, 37-year old Jeanine Greyblood on the morning of February 6th. He pleaded not guilty on both counts on June 14th. Greyblood was charged with one count of second degree murder where a homicide was committed with intent but without premeditation, and one count of second degree murder without intent while committing a felony. Later, four forensic scientists took the witness stand to present the results of DNA testing that was conducted in relation to the case. On Friday the defense started their case, as Defense Attorney Susan Gaertner of Lathrop GPM began to make Greyblood’s case that Greyblood was acting in self-defense on the night Jeanine died. Greyblood's parents took the stand on Friday in the defense of their son along with friends of the couple showing a darker side of their relationship before Jeanine's death. Gaertner stated they will wrap up their case Monday and then closing arguments will begin before the trial is turned over to the jurors.
