--One person was injured in a three vehicle accident in Morrison County Friday at 4:51pm on Highway 10 at Centre Street in Royalton. 51-year-old Ronda Anderson of Coon Rapids slowed for the oncoming stop light which caused a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Travis Carr of Mondovie, Wisconsin to strike a vehicle in front of it driven by 38-year-old Aaron Sheffield of Merrifield who then struck the Anderson vehicle the chain reaction. Sheffield was taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries.

--Governor Walz has ordered all United States and Minnesota flags at half staff in honor of Queen Elizabeth. After a 70-year reign, Queen Elizabeth died Thursday at age 96. The Governor has ordered all United States and Minnesota flags at half staff at all state and federal buildings beginning immediately until sunset on the day of her burial.
A state flag on state property is required by law to be flown at half-staff if the national flag is flown at half-staff. The Governor is asking all individuals and business to join the state in lowering their flags.

--Afternoon traffic on Highway 371 North in Baxter Thursday was reduced to three lanes after a crash left multiple damaged vehicles in its wake. Shortly after 4pm emergency personnel worked to secure the scene and reopen the highway at the intersection of Highway 371 and Clearwater Road. Traffic backed up to Woida Road. A BMW with a crushed back end and visible damage on the front end came to rest in the traffic lane while two other vehicles involved in the crash, a Jeep and a Dodge Ram truck were nearby. The vehicles were towed away from the scene as the Baxter Police Department and the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office gathered information. The driver of the BMW was taken to a hospital with injuries no other information was given by law enforcement on the others involved in the accident.

--The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a camper fire at 4:39pm Wednesday on the 10000 block of Legionville Road. Fire crews were in the area for a previous call at 4:25pm reporting smoke in the area of Legionville Road. While firefighters were searching for the location of the smoke, another call came in reporting a camper on fire. Brainerd Deputy Chief Dave Cox said upon arrival, firefighters found a burned camper and a small grass fire. About 10 firefighters had the fire out within 15 minutes. Crews were on scene for 30 minutes. No injuries were reported. Cox said the trailer was being dismantled at the time of the fire and no one was displaced. Other calls included: at 7:58am Thursday to the intersection of North Fourth and Washington streets for a vehicle crash. Fire crews assisted at the scene. The at 4:15pm to the intersection of Lum Park Road and Highway 210 for a vehicle crash. Fire crews assisted at the scene, no other information was released.

--Crow Wing County Sheriff Scott Goddard reports that Thursday night at approximately 9:33 PM, the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single motorcycle crash near the intersection of State Hwy 210 and Ash Avenue, Oak Lawn Township. Upon arrival, deputies determined that the driver of the motorcycle, Matthew Bordwell, of Brainerd, was traveling eastbound on St Hwy 210, lost control and slid on the pavement. Bordwell was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered a head injury. Bordwell was conscious and was able to speak with deputies. Bordwell was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Bordwell was airlifted to the St. Cloud Hospital. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Brained Police Department, North Memorial Ambulance and North Memorial Aircare.

--Albany Pioneer Days begins on Thursday and runs through Sunday.

--More information was released on a multiple vehicle accident Thursday around 4pm in Baxter on Highway 371 at Clearwater Road. According to Baxter Police Chief Jim Exsted, a jeep collided into the back end of a BMW which caused that vehicle to strike another vehicle causing that vehicle to flip onto its side. the BMW driver, Joshua Glanz, 20, and his passenger, Caleb Ward, 18, both of Baxter, suffered injuries and were transported by North Memorial Health Ambulance. The Jeep driver, Paula Seidl, 44, of Little Falls, was injured but not transported. The Dodge driver, Neil Borga, 31, of Baxter, suffered no reported injuries. A citation was issued to Seidl for inattentive driving in the accident. No word on any conditions.

--Fire crews responded to a shed fire early Friday morning. The incident happened at around 1:40am in the 5800 block of Pleasant Lane in St. Cloud. Battalion Chief Steve Richardson says firefighters arrived to find the shed fully engulfed. The shed contained multiple motorcycles, along with yard equipment. Fire crews worked quickly to extinguish the blaze. The shed and the contents inside were a total loss resulting in nearly $30,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but it's believe to have started from a lightening strike.

--The Minnesota chapter of the Council of American-Islamic Relations is asking for St. Cloud police to step up their patrols after an attack on the St. Cloud Mosque. The St. Cloud police department responded to the St. Cloud Islamic Center just after 4am. Authorities say two suspects (a man and women) had broken an exterior door to gain entry in to the mosque. Video surveillance shows suspects broke some ceiling tiles and ransacked an office while inside. Both suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. Both suspects were later found at a nearby hotel. Authorities used a search warrant on the hotel room and found evidence linking them to the burglary.

--Little Falls Community Schools wanted to thank all who attended the events in Little Falls this past weekend and especially those who helped the school in their fundraising efforts from serving food, keeping our community clean, manning parking lots and helping where needed for Arts and Crafts. Fundraising from these items go to help sports teams and the school clubs so thank you again.

TWINS= Cleveland held off Twins Friday 7-6. Cleveland stop the Twins late rally Saturday to win 6-4. Cleveland sweeps the Twins by winning 4-1 on Sunday. The Twins drop into 3rd place in the American League Central now at (69-70) and are off today.
COL FB= Gophers crush Western Illinois 62-10 on Saturday and now at 2-0 will host Colorado on Saturday afternoon.
