NEWS

--A couple of items from the Little Falls Police Department, first following the snow and ice last weekend, a reminder that if you think intentional spinning of your tires on an icy snow covered road is okay, it’s not. On Sunday a vehicle clearly showed they were driving without care for others on the road when it struck a power pole causing damage. The damage caused low hanging wires over two streets. Now Officers are being pulled from other duties to make sure no large vehicles get caught in the wires. Also waking up power company employees and putting them on the dangerous roads and working in poor weather conditions early Sunday morning is not the type of fun that many think they are having. If you have any information about this incident please contact the Little Falls Police Department 320-616-5570 also the Police Department is continuing to remind reisdents of the drop off site inside their front lobby of the police station. Earlier this fall that went to 24 hour drop off site for any unused or unwanted prescription drugs to be dropped off, no questions asked in the drop box. The 24/7 drop box is another way to get these drugs off the streets and out of the wrong hands when the rightful owners have no more use for them.
