--KLTF Party Line live today at 10am from Coborn's Marketplace in Little Falls for the kickoff of the Dairy Recipe Contest. In the next 12 Party Line shows a recipe will be given from the listeners and that person is qualified for a chance to win 1 of 3 dairy buckets from the Morrison County ADA, Coborn's Marketplace and AM960 KLTF. --Sartell police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to steal a truck in the Sams Club parking lot. It happened at about 3:15pm Tuesday. The victim says he was in his truck talking on his cell phone when a man knocked on the window and asked for a ride. The suspect then said he had just backed into the truck. The victim was suspicious of the other vehicle since he didn't feel any impact, but he got out of the vehicle and looked. The suspect then tried to get into the driver's side of the truck, but the victim was able to pull him out. He then ran east across County Road 120 and into the woods. The suspect is described as a white man, about 5'8", and 175 pounds. He was wearing a white and black flannel shirt with blue jeans and a black stocking cap.

--A 30-year old Brainerd man was arrested Thanksgiving Day after fleeing on foot from Nisswa police during a traffic stop. According to the incident report by Nisswa Police Department, a police officer was on routine patrol parked by the roundabout on Crow Wing County Highway 18, when the officer observed a driver go by with felony warrants out for his arrest. The officer located the vehicle parked at the Nisswa Recycling Center behind the Nisswa Fire Department and arrested the 36-year-old Pequot Lakes man, who was placed in the officer's squad car. The officer went back to the vehicle to talk to the passenger, a 30-year-old Brainerd man, who refused to provide his identification or any information. The man seemed nervous about being asked questions about his identity, the report stated. The officer advised the man to stay in the vehicle while he went to talk to the driver. When the officer went to talk to the driver, he observed the passenger running from the vehicle toward Nisswa Park. The officer ran after the passenger, instructing him to stop, as he ran through backyards past Park Avenue and Lilac Lane. The officer lost sight of the man after he ran around a house. The officer followed the man's tracks up until Poplar Avenue. Other officers arrived on scene to search for the Brainerd man. Police were able to identify the man and learned he had a felony and a misdemeanor warrant out for his arrest. Officers following the suspect's tracks in the snow to the Good Ol Days Resort. Officers lost the trail by a garage near the resort. The Nisswa officer found the garage door to be unlocked and entered the garage. The suspect was located inside a boat under a boat cover and arrested.

--This weekend may be one of the busiest in Morrison County and the surrounding area in quite some time. There are a number of craft events including Carousel of Crafts at Little Falls Community Middle School sponsored by Mary of Lourdes schools plus many more at numerous churches this weekend. --Join Little Falls Radio this Saturday as we help fill the truck for the Holiday Gift Giving Program at the Wal-Mart parking lot. From 10am-2pm LF Radio will be broadcasting live from the event where you can give toys and others items to help fill a large truck to help those who can't afford items for the Christmas Holiday. Also the Morrison County Salvation Army will have bell ringers out helping to give locally to Morrison County during the event on Saturday. --As the Holiday Gift Giving Program in Little Falls is ongoing, Jordan Hansel State Farm Insurance Agency has pledged an additional $20 per tag for tags purchased from their office tree.

--A Milaca tax preparer is charged with 45 different felonies stemming from years of fraud and failing to pay income tax. Cindy Halgren had operated Clearview Tax out of her home. She's charged with 39 counts of preparing or filing fraudulent tax returns, three counts of filing fraudulent income tax returns and three counts of failing to pay state income tax. According to the complaint, between 2012 and 2018, Halgren prepared and submitted fake filings for herself and multiple other people. Several of these centered around deductions, including company phones, cars and union dues that were all falsified. She allegedly filed the returns without reviewing them with customers. Halgren is also accused of receiving over $23,000 in improper refunds. Each tax-related felony carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, and/or a $10,000 fine.

--Todd County received another theft complaint from Clarissa stating outdoor lights were taken sometime between November 24th and 26th from a home in Clarissa. This makes three called in reports of theft or burglaries occurring in that are around the Thanksgiving weekend. Anyone with information on suspicious activity in Clarissa between November 22nd to the 26th is asked to contact the Todd County Sheriff's Office 320-732-2157.

--A man was hurt in a truck rollover crash in St. Augusta Wednesday afternoon just after 2pm. The Minnesota State Patrol says the pick-up truck was going west on Interstate 94 when it hit the median cables and rolled. The driver of the truck, 56-year-old David Lindberg of Clearwater, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Authorities believe alcohol was involved.

--St. Cloud is the most recent city of sorts to have a style of the Monopoly board game based on them. Creator Tom Dukawitz had worked for years to get the OK to make a greater St. Cloud area-onoply game after the Twin Cities and Duluth had versions created some years back. The game is only sold at select stores in the St. Cloud area that are featured on the game board for now with hopes of going to other retailers in 2019.
