--Once again, there will be another FREE grocery giveaway today from 2-4 PM (or until supplies last), at Living Hope Church in Little Falls. They have NEW directions for entering and exiting the parking lot this week, as they are trying to make things run a little more smoothly and quickly for you as you enter and exit the church parking lot. Everyone will now enter the church parking lot from the north and exit the parking lot going south (right). Please line up on the shoulder of southbound Haven Road (Co. Rd 76). Do not block any turn lanes or side streets. Please do not block the church’s north entrance which will be used for volunteer parking. No entry to the food line will be allowed from Edmund Drive on the north end of the church. Living Hope Church is located at 17389 Haven Road.

--Over the Thanksgiving Day weekend the Morrison County Sheriff's Office shared a video on their facebook page from LPTV in regards to the Terry Brisk homicide case. Terry Brisk’s killer wants this investigation and story to go away, but their agency will continue to pursue the killer until they are held accountable. If you have ANY information, please contact the Morrison County Sheriffs Office at (320) 632-9233. Another option is to report the information and stay anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers of Minnesota at their website www.CrimeStoppersMn.org; by calling the toll free number 1-800-222-TIPS [8477] from anywhere in Minnesota; by installing the Submit a Tip APP on any smart phone; or by sending a text message beginning with TIP674 to CRIMES [274637]. All contact with Crime Stoppers is anonymous and you may qualify for a reward from them if your information leads to an arrest in this case.

--Little Falls City Administrator Jon Radermacher stated yesterday morning on KLTF that with schools on distance learning and many parents working out schedules at city hall the decision was made to close the inside of city hall on Fridays through January 1st for now and will reevaluate at their first meeting in 2021. There are staff working inside the offices on Friday but the doors will not be open to the public but you can call 616-5500 for assistance. Radermacher said they will be having another Economic Development Authority meeting this week to discuss how they can help with the recent guidelines on Bars, Restaurants, entertainment venues and other items closed or restricted by the Governor to help bring more funding to those during these times and more information will be released after that meeting takes place. He also mentioned that they are planning for street projects and other plans for 2021 but right now it is in the waiting period as most of the city issues as is the county and state relys on Local Government Aid that remains mostly being used for emeregency items related to COVID-19 until further notice when they get more information they will relay that one on what can be accomplished next year. The City Council also plans to work on the 2021 budget at their next meeting scheduled next Monday.

--The Minnesota Department of Health on Monday reported 5,801 new cases and 15 new deaths of COVID-19. Morrison County reported 21 new cases Monday. Morrison County website reported Monday 459 active cases with 156 of those in Little Falls and 118 more of those cases in Pierz zip codes.

--Little Falls Radio was informed by the Royalton School District due to the increased number COVID-19 cases reported to the school for students and staff, all Royalton schools effective immediately are now in distance learning until December 14th.

--A Dassel man was arrested after leading police on a chase in Meeker County Saturday night. At around 10:45pm a deputy attempted to pull over a reckless driver near the intersection of County Road 15 and County Road 29 in Collinwood Township. The driver failed to stop and sped off leading authorities on a 26 mile chase. Authorities used spike strips to stop the vehicle. As deputies approached the driver, 29-year-old Aaron Peterson, began to exit the vehicle with a shotgun in his hand. A deputy used his squad to pin the driver's door to prevent Peterson from getting out. After a brief standoff, Peterson put down the shotgun and was arrested. He faces charges of fleeing a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance and multiple gun violations.

--St. Nicholas is making a stop in Morrison County on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the invitation of the Morrison County Historical Society. His Fireplace Zoom Chat will start at 10 a.m., when he will read the classic tale, “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” by Clement Clarke Moore and talk to those in attendance. Parents, guardians, and other caregivers are welcome to join their children in the fun. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. --According to the latest Morrison County Public Works maintenance report, as weather permits, maintenance employees will be working on the following activities this week: bridge work on County Road 252 in Pierz. This will require a road closure, please use alternate route. Crews will also be brush cutting along roadside ditches and patching potholes in the southeast and northwest parts of Morrison county. Please use caution around work crews and flashing lights.

SPORTS
COL FB= due to increased numbers in the Gopher Athletic Programs and many in the football program the University of Minnesota Monday announced that the game Saturday with Northwestern has been cancelled. The Gophers are still hoping to end the season on December 12th with Nebraska but right now that is to be announced.
NFL= Pittsburgh and Baltimore game was moved again to Wednesday after at 2:40pm. There are now 2 games Monday and another next Tuesday. Vikings and Jacksonville still noon Sunday.
