NEWS
--On Friday afternoon, a student discovered an isolated threat written on a partition in the boys' bathroom at the high school. This threat specifically targeted three high school students and mentioned an incident slated for Monday. Local law enforcement has taken the lead in the investigation, maintaining contact with the students and their families, and continuing to question students. The investigative efforts, including a comprehensive review of surveillance footage, have produced limited leads. To ensure everyone’s safety yesterday the district scheduled an at-home/eLearning day for all high school students. High school students will follow eLearning procedures. All other district schools will follow their regular schedules on Monday. The school said they fully anticipate the high school will resume a normal school day on Tuesday with an increased law enforcement presence at the high school. Our concern is to ensure a safe environment for all students and staff. We understand the worry and stress that such situations can generate and want to assure you that we are committed to addressing these concerns as effectively as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to maintain a secure school environment. A Statement from Superintendent of Little Falls Community Schools Greg Johnson.
