--Closing arguments in the Jonathon Greyblood murder trial will begin this morning in Morrison County District Court as the defense rested their case yesterday with Greyblood himself taking the witness stand when asked if he killed his wife he said yes, when asked if he meant too he replied no. Greyblood is charged with two counts of second degree murder in the death of his wife Jeanine. After closing arguments then the case will go to the jurors for a verdict.

--A trial starts this week for a St. Cloud woman charged in the fatal stabbing of a man last April. 41-year old Lindsay Shelltrack-Miller is charged with 2nd degree murder without intent while committing a felony. According to the court schedule, 1 judge will be determining whether Shelltrack-Miller is guilty through a court trial rather than a jury trial. St. Cloud Police were called to a home in the 1500 block of 9th Avenue North around 12:00pm on April 19th. Officers found 36-year-old Justin Berge with a stab wound and making gasping sounds. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. According to the charges, Shelltrack-Miller called 911 to report she stabbed Berge after an argument. It started when she said she threw water on Berge two or three times. Berge allegedly then threw a can of pop at her. The woman said Berge was coming toward her and she pepper-sprayed him. She said Berge then threw her to the ground and was kneeling over her. That's when the woman said she reached into her fanny pack, grabbed a knife, reached across his body to try to nick him to get him to back off. Court records show police watched surveillance video that showed Berge running down the alley to escape the woman when she latches onto his back as if she was trying to grab something. As Berge is seen picking up items on the ground, Shelltrack-Miller allegedly begins kicking him and spraying him with mace. Police say the video shows the man trying to restrain Shelltrack-Miller when she reaches into her pack and pulls something out. The charges state that's when she extends her arm in one stabbing motion toward Berge's chest.

--If you still have a landline phone, there were some changes. Up until October 24th, if you were making a local call, you could just use the last seven digits. That is now changed for certain states and areas. This includes parts of Minnesota and all of Wisconsin. If you are making even a local call as of today you will have to put in the area code and then the 7 digit number, local calls will not consider a 1 before it as it is not a long distance call. This was a federal guideline placed due to the population to provide easier access to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, according to the Federal Communications Commission. The FCC approved the 988 emergency number for suicide prevention. This is easy to remember just like 911 for emergencies and 511 for traffic information. 988 for suicide prevention isn't available everywhere quite yet, but will be implemented by next July for everyone.
