--Morrison County has begun work on a Fallen Officer Memorial near the historic courthouse in Little Falls. This memorial will be in honor of fallen officers who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Morrison County Sheriff John Stack and Chief Deputy Andrew Herlitz were shot and killed in the line of duty after responding to a dispute in Morrison County on October 15th, 1965. Their names will be added to this monument. Pavers will be located on each side of the monument and can be purchased and personalized, showing your support for law enforcement. A donation of $200 per paver will help make this memorial a reality. Your personalized paver will then be inscribed and laid in line with the memorial. Up to 3 lines can be scribed on the paver showing your name, family names, company name, etc. Application deadline is August 26th. Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen will join KLTF Thursday at 8:30am to discuss more on the subject being done to honor law enforcement.
