--St. Cloud Police have released a photo from surveillance at the Wells Fargo Bank that was robbed on Friday. The photos shows the black male at the counter of the bank. The teller said he demanded money, said he had a weapon but never showed one. The pictures is on the St. Cloud Police webiste.

--The identity of a snowmobiler found lying on Highway 371 Sunday who was suffering life-threatening injuries in the incident was 69-year old Vicki Lynn Gleason of Waterville. According to the state patrol, Gleason was riding a Yamaha snowmobile on a snowmobile trail alongside Highway 371, near the intersection with County Highway 29 and County Road 107, or Wilderness Road, north of Nisswa.

--The Morrison County Sheriff's Office stated that a push snowblower was found on 140th Avenue approximately ½ mile north of 103rd Street in Little Falls Township, located 4 miles south of Little Falls. It appeared that the owner went in the ditch pulling a trailer and may have lost the snowblower without knowing it. If you lost a snowblower near that location please contact the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office at (320) 632-9233.

--The Todd County Sheriff's Office along with the Central MN Violent Offender Task Force executed a search warrant last Friday at the at the address of 102 Robert St. South in City of Clarissa. Taken into custody was 43-year-old Scott Andrew Ferrian on 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), receiving Stolen Property, 5th Degree Possession of Controlled Substance (prescription medication Schedule 4 Controlled Substance).

--A 21-year old St. Cloud woman was arrested Saturday and is accused of stabbing a man in the hand. Firhewot Kalsa Kantula was charged with two felony counts of second-degree assault. According to the criminal complaint, police responded to a report of an assault at about 8:30pm Saturday in the 2100 block of East St. Germain Street. A man told police he and Kantula were arguing when Kantula grabbed a knife and attempted to stab him in the stomach or abdomen region, but he put his hands out in an attempt to block or grab the knife and was stabbed in the hand. Kantula told police the man had slammed her into a wall and twisted her arms so she got the knife to defend herself. She said she didn't try to cut the man and only wanted to scare him. Police found a silver knife at the scene.

--The Todd County Sheriff's Office responded to a house fire on the 21st, at 203rd Avenue in rural Clarissa. The house is owned by Kevin and Dianne Eckel who were not at the residence at the time of the fire. The house sustained severe damage. The Clarissa Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Browerville Fire Department, Eagle Bend Fire Department and Minnesota Power.

--A 35-year old St. Cloud man was arrested Saturday, accused of punching another man repeatedly. Chad Patrick Potratz was charged with with one felony count of third degree assault and one felony count of fifth degree drug possession. The incident occurred Saturday outside a St. Cloud residence where a man said Potratz punched him "multiple times in the face" and tackled him. An officer took a statement from the man at the hospital, where he was found to have a concussion and needed stitches to treat facial wounds. When Potratz was being booked, jail staff found 1.7 grams of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

--At its annual meeting, the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association members voted to support a number of critical legislative initiatives intended to help protect Minnesota's wild deer herd from chronic wasting disease. MDHA is calling for the Governor and the Legislature to agree to support and implement a number of key initiatives this year to fight CWD including requiring double fencing on all captive cervid farms, mandatory depopulation of all cervid on farms a with a CWD possible test and other key planning ideas to help in the stoppage fo the spreading of chronic wasting disease. Recently a deer with CWD was found in Crow Wing County along with 40+ deer positively tested for the disease in southeastern Minnesota. MDHA says these findings prove that there is a need now to protect the wild deer herd so that it does not threaten Minnesota's deer and deer hunting traditions in the state. Deer Hunting in Minnesota has an economic impact of 1-billion dollars to the state. MDHA is urging the governor and legislature to update their budget to include over 4.5 million dollars to fight Chronic Wasting Disease with the use of a response plan to be in place and proper testing on the herds.

--A man is charged with making terroristic threats after another man said he threatened him with a large machete. Waite Park Police were called to an alleyway in the 300 block of 10th Avenue North Sunday afternoon. Court records show a man confronted 35-year-old Edgar Barreno about blocking the alley with his SUV. The victim said he told Barreno he couldn't block a public street with his vehicle. Barreno allegedly starting yelling at the victim, flipped him the middle finger and grabbed a machete from his vehicle, took it out of the sheath and was holding it above his head while continuing to yell at the victim. Police located a two-foot-long machete in Barreno's vehicle and arrested him at the scene. The victim was not hurt.

--Due to last weeks bad weather, a reminder that the Swanville School Board meeting, St. Paul's Lutheran Church soup supper in Royalton and Confirmation for the Tri-Parish of Little Falls at St. Mary's in Little Falls were all moved to tonight.

WRE= good luck to the are wrestlers competing at the State Tournament this week. Foley and Long Prairie will compete as teams on Thursday. On Friday, individuals begin at 9am with Class AA including Gabe Nagel and Grant Litke of Little Falls, then AA will follow around 11am which includes from Pierz, Jake Andres, Reese Kapsner and Carson Huls, there will also be three wrestlers from Foley at this time then around 1pm in Class A first round matches from Royalton/Upsala Damion Theisen, Jackson Held, Wyatt Lahr, Matt Kasella and Mason Novitski, also from Holdingford are wrestlers Alex Lange and James Welle.
