MOUNTAIN DEW APPLE COBBLER (Thanks to Unice Lorenz and Ron Nornberg, Little Falls, Mn.)

5 or 6 Granny Smith Apples  2 Cans Crescent Rolls 1 Cup Butter

1 Cup Brown Sugar   1/2 Cup White Sugar 1 Tsp. Cinnamon

1 Can Mountain Dew

Peel and core apples and cut each apple into eight pieces.  Separate each con of crescent rolls into

8 triangles.  Wrap dough pieces around the apples (2 or 3 pieces) and place in a 13×9 inch greased

baking dish.  Melt butter and stir in sugar and cinnamon until dissolved.  Pour over apples and then

pour mountain dew over everything.  Do not stir.

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes, uncovered.

Note:  We gave this recipe before but had several requests to give it again!   Very good!!!
