She wrote an essay for school answering the questions “What my father means to me”. The men were chosen to represent Minnesota and their families in NCF’s 2015 Minnesota Father of the Year celebration from 10:00am-12:00pm on June 20th at Illusion Theater in Minneapolis. The other finalists include: Jeff Warner, Hastings; Stephen Landry, Andover; Jared Rasmussen, Winona; Ryan Eikenbary-Barber, Minneapolis; Bernard Lansequot, White Bear Lake; Abdulai Iddrisu, Dundas; Myron Ralph Johnson, Minneapolis; and Jeff Holien, Peterson. The National Center for Fathering reports the finalists will be presented at the Celebration in Illusion Theater, surrounded by student essayists, school teachers, other finalists and their families.
