A mid-morning semitrailer rollover on Monday closed a section of 28th Avenue in Waite Park near Mills Fleet Farm. Officers were called to the intersection of Stearns County Road 75 and 28th Avenue around 10:00am when a semi driven by 25-year-old Adam Kringle of Silver Lake was heading west on County Road 75 and attempting to make a left turn to continue south on 28th Avenue. The load of gravel it was hauling shifted, causing the vehicle to roll on its side and spill its load. Speed may have been a factor in the rollover. 28Th Avenue was closed for about two hours as the spill was cleaned up. Kringle was not injured in the crash. The investigation continues.
