A 48-year-old Brainerd man was attacked and stabbed Sunday and the suspect is at large and is considered dangerous. Brainerd police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect, 31 year old Nathan Bernard Holden. Holden is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 170 pounds. A knife matching the one described by the victim was recovered by police officers near the scene. However, Holden should still be considered dangerous to the public. Holden should not be approached by the public and anyone observing Holden should call 911 immediately. The stabbing incident occurred at a residence on the 300 block of South Seventh Street in Brainerd. The victim had gone to an apartment there shortly before 1:00am Sunday in an attempt to talk to a female party and reported he was attacked by an adult male whom he was acquainted with. The victim reported being rushed by Holden and assaulted. A witness heard the disturbance and yelled at them and then Holden fled the scene. The victim returned home and realized he was stabbed. Officers observed multiple lacerations to the victim in the torso area. He was taken to a local hospital for his injuries.
