The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating an early morning fatality on eastbound Highway 2 in Duluth. A construction worker was killed and another injured shortly after 7:00am in an incident involving a forklift. The incident occurred on a Wisconsin DOT run construction project on the Bong Bridge connecting Minnesota and Wisconsin. Both workers are employed by Lunda Construction. The St. Louis County Medical Examiner will release the name of the deceased once an autopsy is performed.
