The Little Falls Fire Department responded to a corn field fire at the Paul Nieman Jr. residence on Jewel Road. Around 3:30pm Wednesday 19-Little Falls Firefighters battled the corn field fire for nearly two hours. The fire was contained to the corn field but Little Falls Fire Chief Mike Nieman estimated approximately 5 to 6 acres burned. There were no injuries.
