Families from two rental units were displaced by fire Saturday on Sixth Street South in Brainerd. Firefighters were called around 3:00pm to the structure fire in the second floor of the rental unit. It was reported the second floor had heavy damage and the first floor had some smoke and water damage. Firefighterrs were on the scene for just over an hour. The families displaced are being aided by the American Red Cross. The State Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate the cause of the fire
