Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl reports that thanks to tips from the public, 43 year old Jimmie Dale Peake was taken into custody Tuesday around 11:30am. Peake is a Level 2 Sex Offender who was being sought by law enforcement for registration violations.  Sheriff Dahl thanks the public for the steady flow of information along with the efforts of area law enforcement officers. “It’s situations like this that proves that the eyes and ears of law enforcement is the public. We couldn’t do our job without the good people of Crow Wing County.” Peake was booked into the Crow Wing County Jail and is awaiting his court appearance.
