--The Todd County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to watch for those stealing political signs. --The Little Falls Police Department since October 15th has had to deal with a number of theft reports, including a stolen shotgun on 7th Street Northeast, stolen money from Third Street Southeast and many other reports in the past week. They also responded to a bear report, illegal burning, a case of indentity theft, burglary and trespassing reports. A report of someone shooting at a car with a pellet gun and other property damage reports. The police department also announced they have started to receive an uptick of scam reports; a reminder again to never give personal information or money account information over the phone or by email. In most cases the scammer is likely out of the state or country and very difficult to find if the scam transaction is made. If you receive a call in question, hang up and call police. Police feel the uptick is that more scams develop as we get closer to the upcoming holiday season.
