2016 Recipes: Salmon Dream Sandwiches

Salmon Dream Sandwiches (Thanks Patty Nelson)

Week of December 19th-23rd 2016

  • 16 slices of bread

  • 14 ounce can salmon (pink or red)

  • 4 ounces cream cheese (room temp)

  • 2 Tablespoons butter (room temp)

  • 2 Tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese

  • Salt and black pepper

  • 6 eggs

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • Paprika

  • Oil for frying

Drain and clean salmon. Mash with fork. Stir in cream cheese, butter and shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Spread mixture over 8 of the slices of bread, then top with remaining slices. Whisk together eggs, milk, and paprika. Dip sandwiches in egg mixture and place in greased frying pan and cook on both sides in hot oil and golden brown.
