The Camp Ripley Memorialization Board is hosting a Court of Honor ceremony to be held on Sunday at 1:00pm at Camp Ripley. Honorees being inducted during the 2015 Court of Honor ceremony include: COL (Ret) David L. Hanson, COL (Ret) Donald J. Kerr, COL (Ret) Wallace M. Pantzke, COL (Bvt) (Ret) Geraldine G. Longfellow, CW5 (Ret) Steven R. Wensman. Additionally a new medical facility in the Camp Ripley Training Area is undergoing a Naming/Dedication Ceremony. The newly constructed Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) at Camp Ripley will also be christened, “LTC Hortense E. McKay MSTC” at 9:30am on Sunday. Also the Minnesota Military Museum at Camp Ripley will honor Corporal Joseph Vosika a Member of the 13th Minnesota and 36th Infantry, U.S. Volunteers from the Spanish-American War as the featured Veteran of the Month Exhibit for October.
