Minnesota Farm Bureau is urging landowners to thoroughly examine the latest DNR buffer map. Associate director of public policy Cole Rupprecht says the new version reflects more than 3,000 change requests following the initial release last March. Rupprecht says the DNR is asking that comments and change requests be submitted to local Soil and Water Conservation Districts. The next buffer map update is expected in early 2017.
