Funeral services have been set for the deputy killed Sunday at St. Cloud Hospital. A funeral for Steven Sandberg of Aitkin will be Friday at 11:00am at Aitkin High School. Sandberg was investigating 50-year-old Danny Hammond who was able to get Sandberg’s gun and shot and killed him Sunday morning. Hammond died later that day after being tased by a hospital security guard and succombing to what the hospital called a medical emergency.
