A high speed chase near Onamia led to a crash and a driver fleeing on foot. Around 10pm last Saturday a vehicle with Colorado plates was being stopped by Onamia police where the vehicle then fled and reached speeds of 90 miles per hour in the pursuit with the officer. The vehicle crashed and the driver fled on foot. A K9 search was conducted but the suspect was not found. The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen from St. Cloud back in June. The vehicle was being swabbed for DNA but the suspect at this time has not been located.
