An adult man died Tuesday of an apparent drowning on Ten Mile Lake in rural Hackensack. The sheriff’s office was called about 5:20pm to a medical emergency at a residence on Ten Mile Lake rural Hackensack. Deputies and responders arrived and found parties performing CPR on an adult male on a residential dock. The parties were swimming and the male went under for a period of time when they were able to retrieve him and started to perform CPR. Lifesaving efforts were continued by Hackensack First Responders and North Ambulance but he was pronounced deceased. An autopsy is scheduled with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
