Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl reported Wednesday night that 82-year-old Evelyn Nelson of Brainerd was found dead in Baxter. On Wednesday morning they asked for the public’s help in locating a missing elderly female. The Sheriff’s Office said that Nelson was running errands in Brainerd on Tuesday afternoon but never returned home. They received some calls of possible whereabouts of Nelson but none turned up correct. Nelson’s body was found in baxter Wednesday night. Foul play is not suspected.
