The body of a missing deer hunter has been recovered in west central Minnesota. Pope County Sheriff’s officials say a two-day search over the weekend led deputies and conservation officers to the shores of Anderson Lake in Pope County after 40-year-old Jon Donald Kloos of rural Glenwood was reported missing. On Friday searchers found a canoe in approximately ten feet of water. On Saturday Kloos’ body was located. Investigators believe he was paddling to an island on Anderson Lake when he went into the water. An autopsy is being performed for an official cause of death.
