Motley man injured in motorcycle accident on Dove Road south of Bear Road near Randall

Around 2:20pm on Thursday the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a motorcycle accident on Dove Road south of Bear Road near Randall. 67-year old James Mattson of Motley, was traveling north on Dove Road when a deer ran out in front of him on the roadway. Mattson hit the deer and was ejected from his motorcycle. Mattson was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries. Mattson’s motorcycle was totaled as a result of the accident.
