–Monday is Memorial Day. A federal holiday to remember those who have given the ultimate sacfrice for our nation in time of battle and service. The day was originally called Decoration Day as wreaths, flowers or items were placed on the graves of the men who died in battle during the U.S. Civil War 1861-1865.
