NEWS
--Little Falls Schools Superintendent Stephen Jones appeared on KLTF Monday with an update on the work at the high school, Lindbergh and Lincoln Elementary schools. Lindbergh and Lincoln are accessible to faculty and students already and will have open houses at the elementary schools on Wednesday to show off the schools. Open houses are 3:30-6:30pm at Lindbergh and at Lincoln from 4:00-6:00pm where they will be showing off the completed Early Childhood Center. There will be some new transportation rules at Lindbergh this year. Vans and buses will remain in the middle school parking lot, while dropoff and pickup students from personal vehicles will be on 9th street. No longer is anyone allowed in the school before and after school. Students will be dismissed to go outside to the vehicles or parents waiting. The high school is still not ready for students to enter but might be by weeks end. Faculty were allowed to enter and all should be ready for students in some capacity by next Tuesday with some exceptions like the auditorium. The only public access to the high school until school starts is through the south doors on 5th Avenue SE. Community Services and the business office will remain accessible, and the HS guidance office is available in the business office to assist students with schedule changes. Once school begins, students will not be allowed to turn right onto 9th from the high school. Visitors will not be allowed into the commons or the rest of the building until school begins next week. This is to ensure safety to all while construction continues in some portions of the high school. Call the high school office with any questions at 616-2200.
