A Paynesville teenager received cuts from broken glass when the car she was riding in hit a cow late Wednesday night. 16-year-old Miranda Scherer of Paynesville was riding in a car driven by 19-year-old Jamie Scherer of Paynesville just before midnight. The vehicle was heading south on Stearns County Road 33 and crossed Stearns County Road 16 when it struck a cow in the road. Miranda Scherer was treated at the scene but not hospitalized.
