Voters seeking a challenge to a Crow Wing County Board decision to convert the county auditor/treasurer and recorder positions from elected to appointed posts have until 5pm today to submit a petition of challenge to the Crow Wing County Board. Statue required 60 days from the day the implementation was made for the change be used for challenging such decision. The 60th day actually fell on Saturday but Crow Wing County allowed for the petition process to go through today at 5pm to give a working day as the final for challenges.
