Pine River woman critically injured Sunday in crash near Fort Ripley

A 23 year old Pine River woman was critically injured Sunday around 1:00pm on Highway 371 near Fort Ripley. Brienna Rodriguez was driving on 371 when her vehicle rolled into a ditch at Meadow Lane causing her to be ejected from the vehicle. Rodriguez was airlifted to North Memorial in Robinsdale and was listed in critical condition late Sunday. Her passenger, 24-year-old Derrick A. McGinnis of Little Falls was not injured. Rodriguez was apparently not wearing a seatbelt while McGinnis was wearing one.
