Chex Candy – Loretta Wippler
• 1 ½ stick butter
• 1 1/3 cups white sugar
• ½ cup white corn syrup
• 6 cups Rice Chex
• 1 can nuts
Melt butter, add butter and syrup bring to boil, cook until 235 degrees on candy thermometer. Do not over cook. In large bowl, mix Chex and nuts. Pour syrup over it and mix well. Spread on large buttered baking sheet. Cool well. After cooling, break into serving pieces and store in container in refrigerator.
