Chocolate Sauce – Pat Schilling

• ½ cup butter
• 2 – 1 ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup light cream or evaporated milk
• ½ cup light corn syrup
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
In sauce pan, melt butter and chocolate. Add sugar, cream, corn syrup and vanilla. Boil 1 ½ minutes. Remove from heat. Serve warm or cold over ice cream, pound cake or fresh fruit. Refrigerate leftovers.
