St. Cloud police have arrested a 16-year-old in connection with a stabbing death early Friday morning on the city’s south side. The teen was in police custody Friday, and the department expected him to be charged with second-degree murder, second-degree assault and a curfew violation. St. Cloud police responded to a knife complaint at 1:41am at Sixth Avenue South and Fifth Street where several people were fighting. During the fight, Davee Moshea Devose, 20, of St Cloud, was stabbed. The release said paramedics came to the scene, but life-saving efforts were not successful. The suspect was later picked up in the 900 block of Fifth Avenue South for a curfew violation. The teen later confessed that he stabbed Devose. Investigators recovered the knife believed to have been used in the incident a half block from the scene.
