Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larson stated that yesterday was the 50th anniversary of when Morrison County Sheriff John Stack and Chief Deputy Andrew Herlitz were killed in the line of duty. Sheriff Larson in a quote said “Time should never erase the sacrifices that were made by those two men and all who have sacrificed on behalf of the citizens of Morrison County, Thank You”.
