Three vehicles were involved in a collision Sunday evening in Benton County. 87-year-old Richard D. Fountain of Royalton was driving west on Halfway Crossing when he failed stop at a stop sign. As a result his car struck the broadside of a Lexus being driven by 25-year-old Jaron W. Shodeen of Oakdale traveling south on U.S. Highway 10. The collision caused the Lexus to be pushed into truck driven by 24-year old Jayde L. Serich of Cohasset. Richard Fountain and 20-year old Kayla M. Buyense of Oakdale who was a passenger in the Lexus, suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Shodeen and Serich did not report any injuries.
