A two-vehicle accident on Highway 371 at Lake Forest Drive in Crow Wing County Saturday afternoon sent two- including a 14-year-old girl to the hospital. The State Patrol said 85-year-old Harlan Scherer of Arizona was attempting a wide U-turn on the Highway and collided with a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Marla Carey of Pine River. Carey and her 14-year-old daughter Grace Carey were both taken to an area hospital for injuries ruled non-life threatening. Scherer and his passenger 83-year-old Nola Scherer were not hurt.
